SAT scores declining, even though high school grades are rising
When it comes to standing out in the college applicant crowd, getting high standardized test scores is the best way to shine. If you’re applying to college, “There’s a great opportunity to stand out with a good standardized test score,” says Jeff Olson. If the decline in SAT scores is worrying you, there’s always the ACT. Scores for this test have remained flat nationwide, according to Olson. “It’s a smart move to take practice tests of both, and see you how fare,” he advises.
